What this mark means
The Global Organic Textile Standard covers certified organic textiles and associated processing requirements. A GOTS label needs the appropriate claim and certification information. Organic fibre content alone does not authorise the mark.
Before you add it to your label
- Use the issuer’s labelling guide and confirm the licence and certifier details.
- Get the production file from the issuer or your certification contact; keep its proportions and required wording intact.
- Include the source and approval reference with your artwork for the final label review.
A detail worth checking
A GOTS label needs the appropriate claim and certification information. Organic fibre content alone does not authorise the mark.
